Arnika Hütte
Born from a passion for the mountains, nature, and open spaces, this is a place where you can lose yourself in the enchanting panorama stretching from the Carnic Alps to the majestic Julian Alps.
An old dairy stable, recently renovated with beautiful finishes crafted from larch wood sourced from the surrounding forest, has been transformed into an oasis of relaxation. It is nestled in the heart of the ancient Tarvisio forest, on the Ugovizza Alp at 1,350 meters above sea level.
Strategically located for trekking and hiking, the area is surrounded by trails accessible both on foot and by mountain bike. The tranquility and beauty of the surrounding forest provide the perfect setting for rest and rejuvenation, offering an authentic experience and a unique opportunity to connect with nature.
The cabin is eco-sustainable, equipped with a photovoltaic system and solar storage batteries that provide electricity for both lighting and appliances. In the kitchen, a wood-burning stove, also fitted with an oven, radiates a gentle, fragrant warmth, creating the cosy atmosphere of a traditional mountain home.
The Arnica Hütte can be reached on foot from the last parking area, via a steep dirt road that takes approximately 20–30 minutes uphill. Alternatively, access by four-wheel drive vehicle is possible for experienced drivers, at your own risk.
A complimentary transfer to the Arnica Hütte is available on check-in and check-out days upon request.
The perfect retreat, where comfort meets relaxation in a timeless atmosphere. Nestled in the pristine nature of the ancient Tarvisio forest, every detail is thoughtfully designed to offer a unique and deeply relaxing stay.
The cabin can accommodate up to six guests. The layout includes two bedrooms on the first floor, and on the ground floor a spacious living area with a sofa bed, an adjoining kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower.
Once you reach the village of Ugovizza (in the map), continue towards the Alpe di Ugovizza where the Arnika Hütte is located (in the image).

The red line, marked on the picture, is the stretch of road you must walk from the parking lot where you can leave your car to the cabin.
